As usual, we have a pretty busy programme for 2010. As well as our regular charters, we are re-introducing public trips in Retford and we are running a series of "taster sessions" for you to come along, try your hand at narrowboat handling with one of our experienced crew members and maybe even join the crew if you like what you see.

So far, our public trip dates are 31st May, 19th June and 30th August. These are 50 minute trips. The May and June trips will depart from the Bay Tree Cafe. We're hoping the August trips will be be able to depart from our new base at the Hop Pole public house. Booking isn't essential on these trips, but if it looks like the weather's going to be nice, you might like to contact us in advance and reserve your places!

On top of that lot, we'll be running 30 minute public trips near Worksop for the Canal Festival weekend 17th / 18th July. The Festival is being held in conjunction with Bassetlaw Council and coincides with their Arts Festival so it should be a fun-packed weekend.
