Christmas is coming...
Yes, it's getting close to Christmas again and Seth Ellis and crew will be running the ever popular Santa Specials. Younger visitors get a present and the chance to meet the big bearded guy in red and older visitors can enjoy a mince (or apple) pie and a glass of something therapeutic (or a cup of tea).
Santa and his crew of helpers are available for trips on 3rd and 4th, 10th and 11th, 17th and 18th and 23rd of December.
These trips sell out quickly so to avoid disappointment, call Pete or Vicki on 01246 280660 as soon as possible.
The big lad in red will be making a special pre-Christmas appearance in Retford on Saturday 26th November with a few special guests, so if you're around Retford on the 26th mid morning, please come down and give us a wave!

Hi! I'm the narrowboat Seth Ellis. I live at Retford on the Chesterfield Canal and am owned by the Chesterfield Canal Trust. I'm operated by a team of volunteers and spend a lot of my time running private charters up and down the canal from Retford. This website is managed by the people that crew me and would look after you if you chartered me for a trip.
